overview

Barclays Live delivers a personalized experience that
simplifies how you access research, data and analytics.

PROBLEM AREA

“We know what good research is, but lack a vision for engaging clients with it. It's like we've thrown a bunch of random darts with no clear target.”

Barclays Live was bloated with features, pages, and duplicative content, with little hierarchy and unnecessary complexity. This created a content discovery problem that was impeding them from delivering their core offering: providing insights.

We began to address this core pain point by focusing on parts of the experience that aggregate information and funnel traffic, i.e. are critical to driving content discovery as part of the reskin track of work.

Approach

The team and I redesigned the core pages of Barclays Live with key design principles in mind to improve usability and understanding and build a strong foundation for the future experience.

We designed the foundation for the new Barclays Live experience, plus, built a powerful toolkit to accelerate further building and defining.
